Ganesh Himal (7406m) is located in north-central of Nepal on the border of Tibet. The Ganesh Himal named come after the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune. The Ganesh Range Peaks divided under Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III & Ganesh IV stand out like crystal that is the "Great Himalayan Chain" forming the skyline. This great Himalayan massif is contained between the valley of the Buri Gandaki in the west and Bhote Koshi in the east, which becomes Trishuli River in the lower section.

The trekking area which lies on the central eastern region of Nepal still lucky to remain untouched by modern world, widely cultural and traditions barrier, massive mountain close enough to touch. The range lies about 70km north-northwest of Kathmandu. The first glimpse of Ganesh Himal greets us, when we go crossing over the hills and leave Kathmandu behind.

The trail starts from Trishuli following the upper valley landscapes. You will be witnessing the panoramic views of many majestic mountains, not tiring to see the smiling faces of native people from the villages and sometimes walking by the bank of rivers in continuation of the trail. You will have the opportunities to visit the inhabitants of these areas who live in flat roofed fortress-like village in this remote village. The journey around these legendry mountains is among the most enjoyable though tough.

This is one of the legendry "Hidden Valleys" of the Himalayas, guarded by 3 tiered pagoda set on a rocky steep sided gorges to pine forest and alpine meadows leading to a huge glacier below the snow capped peaks. The trail ends at Syabrubensi and the following day we drive back to Kathmandu.
