Tharpu Chuli is placed at Annapurna Sanctuary in Annapurna Himal and the pet name Tent Peak was given by Jimmy Roberts in 1956. Tharpu chuli is situated at the hub of the Annapurna region at the height of 5,663m above the sea level. The original route winds around North West ridge ultimately leading to the summit; nevertheless it can also be climbed through South East Ridge as well as South West portion. Tent peak climb is followed by Annapurna Base camp trek which is the best.Tent peak is regarded as the ideal destination for the first timers who are panicked to start with high mountains. It is the fraction of the ridgeline and is placed in the south of the glacier dome.

Tent peak acts as separator between the semicircles of peak wrapping the sanctuary. This climb offers panoramic view of Annapurna Himal along with glaciers, pass and moraines surrounded by some high peaks. The climb over Tent peak also bestows the travelers with unparalleled and undisturbed view of Annapurna Sanctuary.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel / welcome dinner.
Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley 
Day 03: Drive or flight to Pokhara (850m). Overnight at Hotel 
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul (1070m). Trek to Tirkhedhunga (1577m) 
Day 05: Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2855m) 
Day 06: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3200m). Trek to Tadapani (2595m)
Day 07: Tadapani to Chomorung (1950m) 
Day 08: Chomorong to Dovan (2720m) 
Day 09: Dovan to Machapuchre Base camp (3700m) 
Day 10: Machhapuuchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base camp (4130m) 
Day 11: Acclimatization in Annapurna Base camp 
Day 12: Annapurna Base Camp to Tharpu Chuli Base Camp (4350m) 
Day 13: Base Camp to High Camp (4900m) 
Day 14: Higher Camp to Summit (6501m) and return to Base Camp 
Day 15: Base Camp to Machhapuchre B.C (3700m) 
Day 16: Machhapuchre B.C to Dovan (2720m) 
Day 17: Dovan to Jhinu Dada (1600m) 
Day 18: Jhinu to Pothana (1900m) 
Day 19: Pothana to Phedi, Drive to Pokhara 
Day 20: Drive or fly to Kathmandu (1350m) transfer to Hotel 
Day 21: Free day for shopping or relax 
Day 22: Departure
